Applicants must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, a teacher’s license from any state, or willing to work towards obtaining such license. They also must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have the desire to grow with our organization. Preference will be given to teachers who possess special education endorsements with their teacher’s license and/or who have past work history with special needs students, especially those with ASD.
In addition, applicants must have strong communication skills, the ability to work well with others, the capacity to think quickly and make decisions independently. This position requires the ability to develop and facilitate new lessons, accurately track and report data, and engage in administrative functions and fundraising efforts. Applicants must be comfortable learning, teaching, and using technology, have a passion for their work, be responsible and well-organized, have an impeccable attendance record, and be able to work within set guidelines. Applicants must also possess the ability to follow standardized assessment and confidentiality guidelines.
